Expert's Tip

What sets this J Taste Multipurpose Matcha Powder apart from others is that it contains just the right amount of beet sugar from Hokkaido. This addition prevents the matcha powder from clumping easily while providing a milder taste. However, it still preserves the pure matcha taste and flavor indefinitely. This Matcha powder is ideal for making drinks, cakes, and desserts. It is easy to handle and versatile, making it perfect for those trying authentic Japanese matcha powder for the first time!

Instructions

1) Gathering the Ingredients

Gather the ingredients. The first picture is for making homemade lemonade syrup. If you already have lemonade, you can skip to the second picture.

2) Slicing the Lemons

Wash the lemons with some salt to remove the wax. Then slice them, removing the seeds with a toothpick.

Tip: Keep some lemon slices to use as garnish later.

3) Making the Lemonade Syrup

Add the lemon slices, water, and sugar to a pot and simmer them over medium heat. Once boiled, remove any foam and simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat.

4) Making Matcha

Add J Taste Matcha Powder and hot water into a bowl and mix until well combined.

5) Pouring Matcha and Lemonade Into a Glass

Prepare a glass and pour in the lemonade syrup and water. Mix them together.

Add some ice and gently pour the matcha on top.

Decorate with a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. Enjoy!
