Don’t let the price hold you back. These naturally dried persimmons are sweet with soft moist centers & excellent fruit flavor, and are as good as being in Japan. A 700 gm box has a piece count of 19 or 20 hoshigaski and store well in a ziplock bag. Do not refrigerate. Most have seeds (2 to 8) but that’s expected with a dried whole fruit & don’t affect the eating pleasure. In 2023 we bought 1 box, this season we bought 3, to share with others. We’ll buy again…

This was the third time I bought these persimmons in the last month. It is so delicious and I gave a few for gifts. This last arrival of persimmons was different. It arrived wet and kind of soggy looking. The previous orders were beautifully received, lightly dusted with white powder and in good shape. What happened?
