I tried these cookies 14 years ago when I was a kid with my parents in Japan during vacation. It’s become my favorite cookies, so I took some pack home. All these years I wanted to feel these taste again, but I had never had a chance to fly to Japan. So a week ago my friend send me this link and I ordered 2 packs. The yatsuhashi arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They are exactly the treat I bring home from visits to Kyoto, and ask friends to bring when they visit. I was longing for some due to no longer being able to travel. These are a perfect teatime snack, not too sweet, and super crunchy. Totally satisfying, gluten free as well! Pricing through Japanese Taste is really great. I may just order from the site even after international travel resumes, and save the luggage space for other souvenirs.
