This Japanese knife is an artisan-made petty knife from Japanese blacksmith Takamura Hamono. It is made of a hammered steel to offer excellent sharpness without sharpening.
Its hammered surface on the blade means you can smoothly cut any type of food without sensing friction when cutting it or adhesion when removing the blade.
The VG10 is a premium stainless steel originally produced by a Japanese steel expert called Takefu Special Steel. This metal features excellent sharpness and toughness.
