The deep sides, forged at a stylish angle, allow you to cook with sauces without worrying about spillages. The domestically-forged Japanese iron is very resistant to high-temperature cooking, and has fantastic heat-retention capabilities, ensuring that you can cook quickly, and evenly, giving your food a great crisp in the process.
The stylish handle is a single piece of beech wood, encircled by a smooth and elegant band of stainless steel that connects it to the pan.

When using for the first time, please season the pan thoroughly with oil. To season, first wash the pan with soapy water, then heat over medium until all of the water dries. Turn off the heat, and put an inch of oil into the pan, heat over low for three minutes, and then pour out and discard the oil. Let it cool, and wipe the surface with kitchen paper.
After use, wash while warm with water and a gentle sponge (do not use dish soap), dry thoroughly and apply a thin layer of oil with kitchen paper.
